Mr. Navigato has been practicing law for over 20 years.  He began his career litigating complex multi-party construction defect litigation.  Now, Mr. Navigato focuses his practice on assisting businesses and their owners address everyday legal problems.  He helps businesses wade through ever changing labor laws and employment-related disputes.  Mr. Navigato assists owners buy and sell businesses and stock.  He drafts and reviews a broad range of business contracts and agreements including vendor contracts, terms and conditions, distribution agreements, licenses, and independent contractor agreements.  Mr. Navigato files and maintains federally registered trademarks for many entrepreneurs.  He also assists landlords and tenants in negotiating, drafting, and enforcing commercial lease agreements.

Mr. Navigato does his best to help clients avoid costly and time consuming litigation.  However, sometimes litigation is simply unavoidable.  When that happens, Mr. Navigato and his team aggressively pursue and defend lawsuits.  Mr. Navigato has successfully resolved many disputes using the courtroom as a last resort.  These disputes are generally related to the clients’ business and involve issues such as shareholder disputes, bad investments, customer disputes, franchise disputes, unfair competition, trademark and copyright violation, insurance claims, and real property disputes.

Navigato prides himself on timely responding to the often urgent needs of his business clients.  Because he is likewise a business owner, Mr. Navigato understands that overly complex or costly fixes are no solution at all.  Thus, he strives to provide value to his clients by developing efficient solutions which satisfy the client’s goals with little or no disruption to the client’s business.
